On Saturday 25th June, President Penelope and PE Martin attended the Change of Collar evening at RC Marbella-Guadalmina. President Anders Hagner passed the Chain of Office onto President Marie Berggren.

The regular meeting was replaced by a special screening of Dirty Cash, followed by a “Meet The Film Maker” party at Boyds.
On Monday 20th, President Penelope met and exchanged banners with Delphine West-King from RC Ilfracombe.

Steve Mason, Alan Priddy and Alistair Thompson from Clean Fuel Ltd, together with Xavier Calloc’h of Yacht Investor, gave a talk about innovations in fuel technology and their bid to circumnavigate the globe.

A Fun evening to celebrate St David’s Day. Jennifer talked about the Welsh flag and provided Bara Brith and Welsh Cakes. Rob entertained with “An Ode to Barry Island”!
The prizes for the Head and Tails game were His and Her shirts, plus some Welsh booze!

Rotary Community Service certificates awarded to the Girl Guides in thanks for their participation and hard work on the Family Fun Night to raise funds for the Liam Ignacio Project.

The speaker, Marisa Desoisa from Cancer Relief Gibraltar, was presented with a cheque by President Penelope. The money was raised by the very successful “Another Night at the Opera” and special thanks were given by the President to Jane Howard from The Cannon Bar for facilitating the event.
Phillip Borge and Claire Hawkins who performed so splendidly at the event gave a brief reprise.
