50 Years of James Bond movies and Rotary

As part of the 50th Anniversary of RCoG (Charter granted 05/04/1966), The Club held a concert in St. Michael’s Cave on 14th May 2015.  Local artists, including The Gibraltar Regimental Band, The Gibraltar National Choir (featuring the fabulous Millie Devlin), Philip Valverde and The Juke Box Band and The Danza Dance Academy (with the talented Jonathan Lutwyche)  performed James Bond themed numbers. Our very own “James Bond”, Henry Sacramento, was the MC for the evening.

The highlight of the spectacular evening was probably the performance by Millie Devlin with The Gibraltar National Choir, together with The Danza Academy, of “Skyfall”!!
There is a video, (kindly uploaded by Heidi Devlin) of the Finale here!

Barbara said on Facebook – “Wonderful performances from all on Thursday night at the Rotary “Bond and Beyond” Concert. Most memorable: Lovely Lili and her fabulous Gibraltar National Choir featuring the magnificent Millie Devlin; the dazzling Danza Academy featuring the awesome Jonathan Lutwyche; the magnificent Juke Box Band; the rousing Royal Gibraltar Regimental Band: and finally our very own 007, dashing Henry Sacramento ably assisted by the gorgeous Miss Gibraltar Princesses. Thank you all: performers, supporters, sponsors and patrons!”

There are two slideshows of pictures of the concert, taken from different positions in the Cave:
